3000 New Homes

More than 3500 new homes have been planned for on Thorpe Island, West & East Knox and in the Shoebury-Wix marina.

Residential development within the Build LONDON Live zones must adhere to a design brief set to ensure a mix of housing including 30 for key workers. From a total number of dwellings, 40% will be 3 bedrooms @ 150m2, 30% being 2 bedrooms @ 100m2, and 30% as 1 bedroom apartments @ 60m2.

All the designs submitted will be automatically checked against these criteria using BIM integrity and rule checking software.
